French government under fire after May Day chaos

British Prime Minister Theresa May spoke with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel separately on Saturday and Sunday to discuss the Iran deal as well as US tariffs, according to No. 10 Downing Street.

A tree planted at the White House by the commander-in-chief and his French counterpart during an official state visit last week has disappeared from the spot where it commemorated the Franco-American alliance.

The oak sapling, which originated from Belleau Wood - a French World War I battlefield where almost 2,000 USA soldiers were killed - was a gift from the French president.

Donald and Melania Trump participate in the tree-planting ceremony with Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron.

Bill Banning Sale Of Oxybenzone Sunscreens Passed
When signed by governor David Ige, bill SB2571 will be the first such law anywhere in the world, taking effect on January 1, 2021. Lim and other critics say people would be discouraged from wearing sunscreen altogether and skin cancer cases would increase.

But, within days, the tree has mysteriously vanished leaving only a patch of dirt in its place.

But when reporters showed up at the White House to cover Chancellor Angela Merkel's visit, something was missing.

First Lady Melania Trump is frequently the subject of a lot of speculation, ranging from her marriage to whether or not she's happy with her life in the White House.

Tree planting ceremonies have long become a staple of state visits, with USA presidents, whether they are hosting foreign leaders or being hosted by them.

According to the BBC, the specific location where the tree was taken from in northern France saw the deaths of over 2,000 United States Marines during the First World War.

The White House has not yet responded to media requests regarding the whereabouts and well-being of the tree.

He also said that the tree would be a reminder "of these ties that bind us" during a trip where Macron sought to strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
