Gotham is Releasing One More Season!

Gotham Season 5 Will be the Series Last

Gotham Renewed for Season 5 by FOX

Moreover, FOX confirms this final season will revolve around Bruce Wayne's transformation into Batman.

Despite rumours that suggested "Gotham" would not be renewed by Fox if they successfully negotiated a return for their series "Lethal Weapon" - which they did - the broadcaster have indeed gone ahead and ordered a fifth and final season of the DC Comics-based show. Fans began panicking last week as Fox canceled most series that were not produced in-house.

An episode count for Gotham Season 5 has not yet been determined, but it's possible this upcoming season could consist of only 13 episodes as opposed to the traditional 22.

Jon Favreau's Star Wars TV series set after Return of the Jedi
As he relayed to the assembled press, "From the moment [his hiring] was announced, I said to myself, 'Ron, don't f**k this up'". His entry in the iconic saga has been deemed to be one of, if not the most polarizing film in the franchise's history.

Still remaining on the bubble at Fox are 20th TV-produced single-camera comedies Ghosted and Vegas, both of which remain in the conversation for potential second-season renewals. The series is produced by Warner Bros. At that time, David Mazouz's Bruce Wayne was a fairly small but key part of the ensemble, but as the show evolved Bruce came more to the forefront.

The network did not say how many episodes are in the order. Head to our season finale rundown to see when the remaining big endings are airing, and then hop to our summer premiere schedule to see what shows will be premiering when "No Man's Land" is but a distant memory.

This last season, the character of "The Joker" was introduced to the fans of Gotham, but without ever saying that name. One good thing to take away from this news, besides the writers getting a chance to wrap up the story, is that there will be a focus on Bruce becoming the Batman.

Somewhat surprisingly the game is referred to simply as Rage 2 , despite the original never having been that successful or famous. Like its predecessor, RAGE 2 will be an FPS where you can go anywhere, shoot anything, and explode everything.

TV Line broke the news that Gotham was renewed as an "11th hour decision" for the network.

But fans of the show shouldn't despair.
