Following United States' withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal, White House national security adviser John Bolton on Sunday said there is a possibility of secondary sanctions being imposed on the European companies doing business with Iran.

Mogherini said "expert talks" on relevant financial and economic issues such as banking transactions and oil would begin soon and the deputy foreign ministers from the three European nations and Iran would meet in Vienna next week.

Europe and Iran sought a common front on Tuesday to save the nuclear deal without the United States, although some diplomats doubted privately it can survive the reimposition of USA sanctions ordered by President Donald Trump.

Britain, France, and Germany - along with Russian Federation and China - all have said they remain committed to honoring the deal and believe it remains the best way to ensure Iran does not resume development of nuclear weapons.

This week, US President Donald Trump announced that he has withdrawn from the Iran nuclear deal and is set to renew sanctions on Iran.

Commercial deals with Tehran are on top of the priorities behind the decision to join or withdraw from the nuclear agreement with Iran.

Metro Exodus Delayed For PS4, Xbox One, PC
This means that the game won't be in stores until at least January next year, and may not turn up until March at the latest. During THQ Nordic's earnings call today, the company announced that Metro Exodus has been delayed into 2019.

Taking to Twitter, the US President wrote, "Iran's Military Budget is up more than 40% since the Obama negotiated Nuclear Deal was reached.just another indicator that it was all a big lie".

As a result of the new USA sanctions, companies worldwide must stop doing business with Iran or risk US fines or other punishment.

It is unclear how well the measure could be enforced, given that big multinationals are likely to be doing more business in the United States than they are in Iran and may be unwilling to compromise that market access.

Iran said it would remain committed to the deal without Washington if Tehran achieved its goals - namely being protected from sanctions against key sectors of its economy such as oil - in cooperation with other countries that have signed up to the agreement.

Trump is very negatively disposed towards the deal.

Iran's nuclear chief Ali Akbar Salehi was quoted by Fars news agency as saying he was not optimistic on the prospects of the talks with the Europeans.

"It is exactly when the things don't go well that rationality, calm, predictability, respect, dialogue are the most needed to avoid the worst case scenarios, to avoid conflict to spiral out of control", she said.

The white house criticized Iran for "reckless actions" that are a serious threat to stability in the middle East.

Le Maire said Paris would seek to strengthen Europe's ability to block sanctions and provide investment finance to companies.

Gulf countries, which were harmed by this nuclear deal, believe that the latter allowed Iran to expand in our region, and it's thus a must to find a way to deter it and force it to return to its borders and to convince Europe that they (Gulf states) also need guarantees for their security and stability.

Facing that reality, Le Maire said the European Union should strengthen its own legal arsenal against any such future USA threats. It is being pondered upon by the European Union personnel that they are making changes to this statute to get around the constraints laid by US. Last month, 26 former top-ranking Israeli military and security officials signed a letter urging the United States to maintain the agreement, stating unequivocally that the deal is working and that a US decision to pull out would undermine not just USA security, but Israel's security as well.
