Eagles Now Have The #1 Album Of All Time

Recording Industry Association of America confirmed to the Associated Press on Monday that the band's 1976 compilation album, Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975), has been certified 38x platinum, which means sales and streams of the album have reached 38 million copies.

Michael Jackson's 1982 record Thriller spawned countless hits such as "Billie Jean" "Beat It" and the album's title track. The album, boasting hits such as "Witchy Woman", "Lyin' Eyes" and "Take It Easy", had previously been evaluated by the RIAA in 2006, at which point it was certified at 29x platinum.

Additionally, Hotel California, The Eagles album issued in 1997, is 26-times platinum, making it the third best-selling record of all time.
