Eminem's surprise album breaks the internet

Lil Yachty was one of a few rappers named on Eminem's new surprise project Kamikaze, and while the rapper's mention was not explicitly a "diss", according to Em himself, it wasn't exactly a compliment either. The album's cover art looks to be a visual reference to the Beastie Boys' album License To Ill.

On the album's opening track, The Ringer, Eminem appears to suggest that following his freestyle rap at the BET Hip Hop Awards a year ago when he slammed US President Donald Trump, that he was investigated by the secret service.

Grande will be among entertainers Steve Wonder, Jennifer Hudson , Fantasia , Faith Hill , Shirley Caesar, Chaka Khan and more. The star gave her final performance last November at a gala in NY held in aid of the Elton John Aids Foundation.

The album concludes with the song Venom - which features on the soundtrack of the upcoming Tom Hardy movie. At midnight on the East Coast, he tweeted the link to the album and wrote, "Tried not 2 overthink this 1. enjoy" along with a middle finger emoji. The Grammy-winning artist also raps of Trump: "I empathize with the people this evil serpent sold the dream to that he's deserted".

Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, also made headlines in October 2017, when he excoriated Trump in a freestyle rap that has been viewed more than 46 million times on YouTube.

He also targets rival Tyler, the Creator - an outspoken critic of Eminem's - directing a homophobic slur at the Odd Future rapper.

In a song titled "Criminal" on his second studio album.

"I don't know how to say this without saying it how I've said it a million times...but those kind of words, when I came up battle-rappin' or whatever, I never really equated those words [with being gay]", he told Rolling Stone".
