Active shooter 'opens fire in software company causing "devastating loss"'

One local resident shared a video of police cars racing to the scene of the shooting, which reportedly happened around 11:30am EST, with local news outlets announcing that a cordon has been set up. The extent of the injuries weren't immediately known, but those wounded had been transported to a hospital.

Middleton police dispatcher Danielle Kimball says officers are still finding people who've been hiding since the Wednesday morning shooting at software company WTS Paradigm.

Multiple sources said the shooting victims were taken to the UW hospital.

When NBC15 first arrived to the scene, there were employees gathered outside of a commercial building in Middleton. She says she ran out of the building and hid behind a vehicle. She said the shooting was "totally unexpected". She said: "We're all software people". She said the building's glass entrance door shattered.

The Greenway Station shopping center next door to the office building is on lockdown.

Citing anonymous sources, The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal reported that the tariffs would be set at 10 percent. The new round would be in addition to $50 billion in Chinese goods that already face a 25 percent duty.
