The shows are part of a 10-year, multi-million dollar deal between WWE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

WWE is being urged to reconsider holding an event in Saudi Arabia, following the disappearance of a Saudi journalist who had been critical of the country's government.

They became the target of a blistering, 18-minute report on "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver" this past Sunday - which also covered the ongoing political tensions between the USA and Saudi Arabia, as well as the Khashoggi situation.
