Blues set to sign Michy Batshuayi

Despite interest from West Ham in taking him on loan, Chelsea have been searching for a permanent option for the 25-year-old and have held talks with Everton over a potential move, with the Londoners demanding more than the £33m they paid to sign him from Marseille in 2016.

However, it has not been a successful spell in Spain for the Belgium worldwide.

Everton had been linked with buying Batshuayi permanently - they can not loan him because they already have Kurt Zouma from Chelsea - but they seem to have cooled their interest.

He sees the Lima region's high temperatures on Wednesday being minus 7 degrees with a low being minus 22. He said city agencies are making sure homeless people are in shelters or offered space in warming buses.

Michy Batshuayi, Lucas Perez and Vincent Janssen are all pursuing last-minute moves as the January transfer window enters its final few hours.

That leaves West Ham and Betis prepared to offer Batshuayi a chance, with sources having told ESPN FC that Valencia want the player's situation to be resolved by Thursday's 11 p.m. deadline.

The forward has managed to score just three goals in 23 games for the La Liga side and now it looks like Valencia do not want the Belgian to stay at the Mestalla. The Belgian has struggled to get regular playing time at Chelsea and was loaned out to Valencia this season.

While Chelsea appear happy to sell Batshuayi this month, they are unlikely to approve of a deal that would see him join their local rivals.

In 2005, Frank Arnesen left his role as sporting director at White Hart Lane to move to Stamford Bridge, and then in 2013 Spurs were close to signing Willian only for Chelsea to usurp the deal at the last minute.
