Google’s first public Android Q beta is now available for Pixel phones

If you prefer, you can download the latest Android Q Beta build and manually flash it to your Pixel device.

You'll need to enroll with Google to get Q updates onto your Pixel.

Included in the Android Q upgrade are improved security and privacy features which include being able to limit access to your location especially when they are not in use.

Android Q will also prevent apps from accessing shared files unless you want them to, which means you'll be able to control the way apps access photos, videos, and other data.

Even if you had previously registered for the Android P beta, you have to register once again for the Android Q beta. To generate a QR code, head over to your WiFi settings, tap on the current network and then the "Share" button which pulls up the code.
