Champions League Round of 16: Overwhelming Support for Juventus to Beat Atletico Madrid

Juventus have reached the Champions League quarter-finals as Cristiano Ronaldo netted a hat-trick in a 3-0 victory over Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night.

The Portuguese superstar scored two headers either side of half-time and a late penalty to clinch a place in Friday's last-eight draw with a dominant display by the Italian champions in Turin.

He said: "It had to be a special night and it was, not just for the goals, but for the team and their incredible attitude".

The Portugal forward was brought in to help Juventus finally win the Champions League again after some tough losses to Real Madrid, a team at the time led by none other than Ronaldo.

"That's why Juventus bought me, to help them in games like this".

"The lads have shown great maturity", said Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri.

As her following grew, fashion and cosmetics brands linked with the social media star so they could promote their products. Those two brands in particular have worked on major projects and campaigns with Olivia since her college enrolment.

"Juventus were better and deserved to win the game. This is what we wanted in the first leg".

"It was a superb match tonight, with a wonderful public". The Italian title-holders have not won the Champions League since 1996, and have finished runners-up twice in the past four seasons.

The five-time Ballon d'Or victor once again wrote his name into the record books with a stellar show.

Giorgio Chiellini fired home from close range after a goalmouth scramble from a corner, but both the referee and VAR controversially ruled that Ronaldo had kicked the ball out of the hands of goalkeeper Jan Oblak.

Atleti did an admirable job of keeping their shape, yet the pressure continued to build and the breakthrough came in the 27th minute, when Ronaldo got his head to Federico Bernardeschi's cross and beat Oblak to cut the visitors' edge in half. "We didn't have many chances apart from (Alvaro) Morata's header". A move he began from his own half with a pass to Leonardo Spinazzola down the left.

Kean had a chance to score the victor, but failed.

He has promised a full investigation into the tragedy and warned those responsible they would be "severely dealt with". Forty-three other people were rescued, Lagos State Health Commissioner Jide Idris told The Associated Press.

Maradona stated this after the magical Juventus star fulfilled his pre-match prediction by scoring a hat-trick against Spanish side, Atletico Madrid.

"Juventus played in a similar way to what we did in the first leg".

He has also given Juventus a new focus this season as they are already practically assured of an eighth consecutive Scudetto with an 18-point advantage on their nearest rivals.

"I don't think it was lack of commitment or lack of character", Simeone said.

"You must congratulate opponents when they play a game like that and you are beaten like today".
