Google has released the first developer preview of Android Q Beta this week and the major operating system update already comes with a handful of wonderful features. Instead of releasing the first beta only for developers, Google is letting anyone sign up and install the beta. "To reduce these interruptions, Android Q will prevent apps from launching an Activity while in the background". The update for Android Q beta 1 is between 1.2GB and 1.3GB.
If you try to launch an app and you're sent to the app's settings screen, the developer of said app did not correctly modify their app for Android Q. Or the app wasn't properly installed in the first place. That means it's likely to be unstable in places and it's not recommended that you use it on your main phone unless you're happy to put up with possible issues.
Android Q puts new limits on files located on shared external storage. A good backup will include relevant information and data, among which we can count apps, SMS messages, call history and media content like photos and videos.
Ronaldo: "That’s Why They Bought Me"
He said: "It had to be a special night and it was, not just for the goals, but for the team and their incredible attitude". The five-time Ballon d'Or victor once again wrote his name into the record books with a stellar show.
As with any beta program, it's a great chance to test out new and exciting features ahead of time, but expect plenty of bugs and unexplained crashes before Android Q gets finalised. Google says that it has made improvements to help app developers take advantage of the foldable screen devices.
According to Google, Android Emulator, which developers use when developing applications since they may not necessarily have access to all the thousands of Android devices out there (the platform's much-talked about fragmentation is very real), has been updated to support "multiple-display type switching".
Probably the easiest-to-notice change in Android Q is the slicing up of settings for each individual app.

The last feature that we want to cover is Google's Product Sans font that is being introduced system-wide on all Pixel smartphones.
"Android is right at the center of this innovation cycle, and thanks to the broad ecosystem of partners across billions of devices, Android's helping push the boundaries of hardware and software bringing new experiences and capabilities to users".
Among the expansive new collection of privacy protections created to protect user data from third-party applications, Q requires apps to "request permission before accessing sensitive resources", shuts down background access to the camera and microphone, and performs encrypted backups. Scrolling to the left will reveal two buttons: one dedicated to the settings related to the notifications of the app in question, the other dedicated to the postponement of the notification itself. Just like in iOS, Android Q users get three options - giving location access to an app all the time, or only when the app is in use, or never. The example Google users is finding you're not connected to the internet when you open a browser.
Nancy Pelosi says Donald Trump ‘just not worth’ the hassle of impeachment
Pelosi has expressed her opposition to the idea of impeaching Trump - an idea favored by certain members of the Democratic Party. Pelosi knows that a partisan rush to impeachment raises the risk of alienating voters in those moderate parts of the country.
Finally, Android 10 will require 64-bit support in all apps.
