Fans of Stranger Things all over the world are now scratching their heads in the wake of a cryptic new teaser trailer for the Netflix show's third season.

The Stranger Things 3 trailer is here, and the new season isn't just bringing new monsters, it's bringing a new era for the Hawkins AV Club. Hopper and Eleven are wearing extremely '80s outfits (prints!) and the young actors look noticeably older, with Mike noting, "We're not kids anymore". We're just gonna sit in my basement all day?

The third season will last eight episodes and will be released on July 4. This time, the producers are switching things up because we'll have new stories during the summer.
