After an investigation that lasted almost two years, the special counsel has finally delivered his report to the Justice Department on Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, and the possible involvement of Donald Trump's campaign.

The Justice Department said Mueller delivered his final report to Attorney General William Barr and officially concluded his probe of Russian election interference and possible coordination with Trump associates.

In a second tweet, Gillibrand wrote, "Special counsel Mueller's report should be made public without any delay". Is it because Mueller has concluded that Trump did not do anything wrong, either by way of "colluding" with Russian Federation or interfering with the administration of justice? Longtime Trump confidant Roger Stone was charged in January with obstruction, false statements and witness tampering.

"Attorney General Barr-release the Mueller report to the American public".

Robert Kraft Files Motion to Stop Release of Evidence
"She also claimed that neither Trump nor New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft were clients while she owned the spa". Robert Kraft is reportedly going to continue fighting the criminal case against him.

■Barr has said that he would write his own account communicating Mueller's findings to Congress and the American public. "The American people have a right to know if President Trump and his associates coordinated with Russia to interfere in our elections, the full extent of Russian efforts to affect our elections, and any attempts to interfere with Special Counsel Mueller's investigation".

The big question now is whether the report contains allegations of wrongdoing by Mr Trump himself.

Within Trump's inner circle, Mueller secured convictions or guilty pleas from former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, former campaign deputy Rick Gates, former campaign aide George Papadopoulos, former national security adviser Michael Flynn and former Trump personal lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen.

Attorney General William Barr is required only to say the investigation has concluded and describe or explain any times when he or Rosenstein decided an action Mueller proposed "was so inappropriate or unwarranted" that it should not be pursued. And many speculate that the findings can potentially be just as damaging for Trump. "The White House has not received or been briefed on the Special Counsel's report". Last spring, for example, the special counsel's office shared information related to Cohen with the US attorney's office for the Southern District of NY. "I mean, frankly, I told the House, if you want, let them see it".

Gates, a key Mueller witness, continues to cooperate in several ongoing investigations, prosecutors said this month.

While Mueller's investigation is finished, the investigations into Trump, his business and his administration are far from over. Cohen admitted to eight felony counts, two of which involved campaign finance violations involving hush money payments made to two women before the 2016 election.

Here is an explanation of the rules Barr must follow and the political pressures that he faces in deciding on disclosure of Mueller's findings.
